Superheroes are everywhere. They're on my TV, my websites, my vitamins and they're even on my toilet paper. I can't escape the Avengers constantly punching themselves into my life.

In the past, my only solace was going to the movies but now that's all gone to hell! Every movie is now based on a comic book. X-Men, Deadpool, Watchmen, 300, History of violence blah blah blah... there is no quarter for a cinephile like me. Now most of these movies are decent, with a few exceptions, but along with it they have brought a plague to my local cineplex: comic book nerd rage about how the movie got it wrong.
